EMAC has launched several open calls designed to (i) support doctoral students and junior faculty in marketing and (ii) stimulate rigorous, marketing-relevant sustainability research.
- EMAC Doctoral Colloquium 2026 – Call for Submissions (Bath, UK | May 31–June 2, 2026)
A selective pre-conference colloquium (held just before the EMAC 2026 Spring Conference at the University of Bath) offering doctoral candidates the opportunity to discuss dissertation work with leading scholars and peers across parallel tracks.

- EMAC–Enginius Doctoral Competition
Recognises outstanding doctoral work in marketing; finalists present onsite at EMAC Spring Conference 2026. Eligibility: candidates who have completed (or will complete) and defended their PhD in 2025.

- EMAC–Sheth Foundation Sustainability Research Competition 2026
Supports marketing-focused research proposals addressing key sustainability issues (proposals should be <50% complete at submission). Up to two awards of €5,000 each.

Enables advanced-stage doctoral students and junior faculty to spend a month or semester at a research-intensive host institution to strengthen research capabilities and networks.
